The University of Economics - Varna, founded in 1920, is one of Bulgaria’s oldest institutions for economic education. It offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs in fields such as Economics, Management, Finance, Tourism, and Informatics, with courses available in Bulgarian, English, and Russian. The university combines historic academic tradition with modern facilities and a strong focus on practical, market-oriented training.
UE–Varna maintains active partnerships with nearly 300 universities worldwide and participates in international programs like Erasmus+ and CEEPUS. Its strengths lie in internationalization, diverse program formats (including distance learning), and strong regional and global business connections, preparing students for successful international careers.
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Alte University and University of Economics – Varna. The collaboration offers diverse opportunities for students, academic, and administrative staff to gain international experience. The agreement between the universities will facilitate the organization of exchange programs for academic staff and students, joint research projects, exchange of teaching materials and literature, as well as the development of joint academic programs.
