"Informal Education Ideas Competition" has successfully concluded

The "Informal Education Ideas Competition," an initiative organized by Alte University's "Teachers' Council," has successfully concluded!

After undergoing specialized training, the finalists participated in an additional mentoring session, which helped them prepare their final presentations.

The teachers pitched their ideas to the jury members and the audience at the Alte University campus. Following the presentations, the jury selected the top three ideas that would best contribute to the promotion of informal education in schools.

Alte University awarded each of the three winners a cash prize of 1,000 GEL to bring their projects to life:

  • Lali Margiani (LEPL Marneuli Municipality Village Khojorni Public School) – “Eco-Stitch: From Idea to Brand”
  • Nino Psuturi (N(N)LE Venerable Father Giorgi Mtatsmindeli Gori School-Gymnasium) – “Hydro-Lab”
  • Kakha Galdava (LEPL Samtredia Public School N1) – “Podcast Club”

The project’s partner, "Diogene" Publishing House, also selected its favorite initiative and will provide resource support for its implementation:

  • Nestan Ghorjomeladze (LEPL Khulo Municipality Village Tunadzeebi Public School) – “Professional Hub at School”

All semi-finalists and finalists were awarded certificates for their participation.

Supporting teachers is a core priority for Alte University. In collaboration with the Teachers' Council, the university plans to launch many more similar initiatives and events in the future.
