A teacher's council was established at Alte University

The Teacher's council of Alte University has been established to oversee the implementation and dissemination of modern teaching standards, the integration of technology in pedagogy, media literacy initiatives, the promotion of an inclusive environment, and parental awareness in pedagogy. These focal areas will guide the council's activities during the 2024-2025 academic year, aiming to engage faculty members more actively in university life.

The inauguration of the Teacher's Council of Alte University took place on April 18th. Its primary objective is to provide support to schools and educators across Georgia.

A closed-door event was held at the Alte University campus, attended by academic staff, council members, and partner organizations including the "National Teacher Award" and the "Educational Coalition". These partnerships underpin the collaborative initiatives undertaken by the council.

The council comprises 13 educators from various regions of Georgia, including recipients of the "National Teacher Award" and partner educators associated with Alte University across the country.

The council will initiate projects aimed at identifying and addressing specific challenges faced by educators. These initiatives will be developed through bilateral cooperation.

One significant pilot project will focus on conducting thorough research into the needs of graduating students. Additionally, educators will receive training on tools and resources to assist graduating students in their career orientation.

Alte University has been actively collaborating with the Education Coalition for two years and is a staunch supporter of the "Teachers' National Award" campaign.

The project will be piloted during the 2024-2025 period.
