The Department of International Relations at Alte University aims to integrate and advance global standards within the university's teaching, learning, and administrative processes. Its key objectives include fostering cooperation with international institutions, enhancing participation in student and staff exchange programs, integrating the university into international networks, promoting joint programs, and providing support to international students and staff.
Alte University maintains close collaboration with diverse international organizations and foreign universities, contributing to the development of educational programs and research initiatives. Additionally, the university hosts local representatives of international projects and facilitates the involvement of Georgian students in global competitions. Partnership with foreign universities and institutes enables our students and staff to engage in exchange programs, attend summer and winter schools, and participate in international projects and research.

Membership of international networks:
EUA - Alte University is a member of the European University Association (EUA).
The EUA is a consortium of European universities and educational organizations, comprising approximately 850 members across 47 countries. Headquartered in Brussels, the association is dedicated to the analysis and advancement of European higher education policies and practices, with a focus on quality assurance, internationalization, governance, and funding. Additionally, it undertakes transnational and institutional development projects.
The EUA collaborates with the European Commission and the European Parliament, providing member institutions with the opportunity to contribute to the formulation of future EU higher education policies and initiatives.
As a member of the European University Association, Alte University will have the opportunity to participate in international educational activities and European collaborative projects, engage in the development of European higher education policy, and exchange best practices.
EAIE - Alte University is a member of EAIE (European Association for International Education).
Founded in 1989, EAIE is the most important European center for international exchange in higher education. It brings together professionals and provides networks, resources, and expertise in international education. Alte University’s membership in this organization will further strengthen our international connections and expand educational opportunities for both students and academic staff.
ARISA - Alte University is an associate partner of the project, ARISA (Artificial Intelligence Skills Alliance).
ARISA is a four-year transnational project of Erasmus + and it aims to develop and implement standards for AI skills in Europe, which support the creation and development of reliable and ethical AI applications.
ARISA brings together leading European universities, high-tech companies and technological associations.
Cooperation with the ARISA project gives Alte University professors the opportunity to join various groups working in the field of artificial intelligence and participate in workshops with European colleagues, as a result of which the policy of the European educational space in relation to AI will be formed.
ADEE - Alte University is an institutional member of the Association of Dental Education - ADEE. ADEE is the most influential organization in the dental field that regulates undergraduate and postgraduate education across Europe.
It brings together leading medical schools, specialized societies and professional associations.
ADEE membership enable students and academic staff of the Alte University Dentistry program to participate in:
• annual meetings and events of the organization;
• activities in the field of pan-European dental education;
• theoretical and practical activities of special professional groups of the organization;
• the work and decision-making of the Executive Committee and other expert panels;
In addition, students and academic staff have full access to the European Journal of Dental Education. They can enjoy significant discounts at dental conferences and industry events organized by the European Association.
The goal of ADEE is to increase the quality of dental education and create a higher standard of health care for people.
- AMEE - Alte University is a member of the Association of European Medical Education (AMEE), which unites students, academic staff, researchers and scientists from higher education institutions of more than 90 countries. It creates a unified platform that allows each interested person to get the desired information about medicine and health care, and they have the opportunity to plan and implement joint projects and participate in international conferences and events.
- Alte University is involved in the Erasmus + program, which gives students and staff the opportunity to benefit from exchange programs at European universities. In addition, within the framework of mutual cooperation, exchange programs operate with universities in America and Asian countries. Cooperation with research centers encourages academic staff to engage in various research projects.
