Internal Quality Assurance Mechanisms​ Internal quality assurance mechanisms operating at the university are part of the university's strategic management. Students, university employees, graduates and employers are involved in the implementation of the surveys. The purpose of conducting these surveys is to conduct a detailed analysis of the experiences and opinions of interested parties; to improve university activities based on the assessments, recommendations and advice received from them.​<ul><li><a href="https://cms.alte.ge/storage/file/POSmOMXPZs.pdf">Quality Research Policy</a></li></ul>​&nbsp;Thematic analyses​The Quality Assurance Department periodically conducts thematic analyses. Thematic analysis is a needs-based research project aimed at collecting comprehensive information on priority issues for the university, promoting continuous improvement of university life, promoting the introduction of best international practices and evidence-based decision-making at the university.​&nbsp;Annual reports of the department​&nbsp;The Department of Quality Assurance, based on internal quality assurance mechanisms, annually develops an annual assessment report on university activities, which serves to improve university activities through evidence-based assessment, transparency of assessment and development trends.​&nbsp;<ul><li><a href="https://cms.alte.ge/storage/file/FiQXD1Ikr2.pdf">Quality Report for Academic Year 2021-2022</a></li><li><a href="https://cms.alte.ge/storage/file/YUmKlKy0LM.pdf">Quality Report for Academic Year 2022-2023</a></li></ul>​&nbsp;E-learning​In accordance with Articles 47.4 and 47.7 of the Law of Georgia on Higher Education, Alte University implements e-learning using a management system for the educational process (<a href="https://emis.alte.edu.ge">https://emis.alte.edu.ge</a>). This includes synchronous and/or asynchronous communication forms, which entail interactions where the sender and receiver of information are not in the same space but communicate simultaneously (synchronous) or at different times (asynchronous) through specific internet technologies. Internal Quality Assurance

Assessments carried out within the framework of external quality assurance mechanisms (authorization, accreditation, external peer review) confirm that the university meets national and international academic quality, governance, student support and resource standards. ​&nbsp;Alte University was granted re-authorization on December 16, 2024, for a period of 6 years, and the educational programs operating within the university (except for the English-language educational program in dentistry, which is authorized) are accredited.&nbsp;&nbsp;Authorization​Authorization, based on the mission of higher education institutions, establishes the institution's compliance with the following standards:&nbsp;<ul><li>Mission and Strategic Development of the HEI;</li><li>Organizational Structure and Management of the HEI;</li><li>Educational Programs;</li><li>Staff of the HEI;</li><li>Students and their Support Services;</li><li>Research, Development or/and Other Creative Activities;</li><li>Material, Information and Financial Resources;</li><li>The detailed descriptions of the Authorization Standards are given in the 3rd Annex of the Authorization Charter.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Accreditation​Program accreditation, based on the specifics of the field of study of higher education programs, establishes the program's compliance with the following standards:&nbsp;<ul><li>The purpose of the educational program, learning outcomes and the program's compliance with them​;&nbsp;</li><li>Teaching methodology and organization, adequacy of program assessment;​&nbsp;</li><li>Student achievements, individual work with them​;&nbsp;</li><li>Providing teaching resources;​&nbsp;</li><li>Opportunities for developing teaching quality;​</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;External peer review​An established practice at the university is the evaluation of educational programs and institutions by external (Georgian and foreign) experts. This practice ensures an objective assessment of educational programs, university activities and resources and their sustainable development based on local and international standards and best practices.
