"Alte" – More Than Just a "Peak"
Alte University comprises four academic schools: Business, Information Technology, Medicine, and Law & Social Sciences. Each school equips students with the practical, career-oriented education needed to succeed in the global job market.
The word "Alte" is Latin for "peak". The university’s philosophy is to be a partner in students’ journey toward their professional peak - helping each one become the best version of themselves and achieve their personal “Alte.”
“Alte University fosters a multicultural environment, which I believe is essential today for students to gain international experience,” - Ani Amiranashvili, Vice President for Marketing and Business Development at Alte University
Alte aims to create an innovative, technology-driven academic space. As a result, the university offers real platforms and opportunities for students:
- At the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, students develop their innovative business ideas with the support of professional mentors.
- In the Medicine program, students complete clinical practice at the Ivane Bokeria University Hospital.
In the Computer Science program, students have access to electronics labs, graphic design labs, Cisco labs, and computer classrooms, where they work on real projects and earn international certificates (Cisco / AWS).

Each year, we work on launching new programs and upgrading existing ones to align with the demands of the modern labor market. This academic year, both the IT and Business Schools introduced major innovations.” - Ani Amiranashvili
