Alte University students have the opportunity to apply for Erasmus+ and bilateral exchange programs. The Erasmus+ program provides funding for students in the form of tuition, monthly stipends, and travel expenses. Fall semester 2025 admission to exchange programs is announced at 5 universities:

The candidate nominated by Alte University to participate in the exchange program is finally approved by the host partner university, with which a learning agreement is formed with the involvement of the student with a list of courses and credits to be taken in the exchange semester, which simplifies the recognition of ECTS credits received abroad upon return to Georgia.
Application deadline and timeline:
- 02/05-12/05/2025: Filling out the application form available at – https://forms.office.com/e/Qpz2C4k4aT [you will need Alte email activated to access the form]
- 13/05-15/05/2025: Initial screening of applications against criteria and eligibility;
- 16/05/2025: English language competency test, if needed (check the form above);
- 16/05-20/05/2025: Interviews with selected applicants (only the selected applicants will be emailed back);
20/05-22/05/2025: Selection committee makes the final decision regarding nominations.
- Who can participate in the competition?
A student who will have completed at least 60 ECTS by the end of spring 2025 semester within the framework of a bachelor's/one-cycle educational program, and at least 30 ECTS credits at the master's level, and the spring semester of 2025 will not be the last academic semester of their teaching level, will be able to participate in the exchange program. The student's GPA must not be lower than 2.5.
What does the application include?
Together with the application, the student must submit:
a) 1 letter of recommendation from the relevant school (from a member of the academic staff with whom you have taken at least 1 subject),
b) motivation letter (1 page - why do you want to participate in the program? Which subjects do you want to study at the selected university? What kind of impact will the exchange program have on your development? How will you transfer the acquired knowledge and skills to your home university after returning to Georgia?),
c) resume/CV,
d) Passport/ID document copy,
e) Transcript of records,
f) Documentation proving your English language competency.
The documentation must be submitted in English (as PDF files) .
At least B1 level of English by CEFR if required. This may be confirmed by presenting the results of an internationally recognized language proficiency test, by completing the Alte University English language training courses (up to at least B1.2) or English taught subjects (at least 20 ECTS) or by taking an Alte internal exam.
- How will the relevant commission evaluate the application?
The application is evaluated according to the following distribution of points: academic performance - 25 points, resume - 15 points, motivation - 10 points, recommendation - 10 points, language competence - 20 points, interview - 20 points (total 100 points).
