Terry Shonge, a student of the English-medium Dentistry Program at Alte University, and Zurab Alkhanishvili, the Head of the program, took part in the International Exhibition and Innovation Forum organized by the Georgian Stomatological Association.
The prestigious event was officially opened by Edoardo Cavallé, President of the European Regional Organization of the World Dental Federation
Our representatives delivered interesting presentations during the forum:
Terry Shonge presented his research at the Radix Association's Youth Scientific Forum on the topic: “From Biofilm to Personalized Dentistry: How the Oral Microbiome is Changing Medicine.”
Zurab Alkhanishvili presented his paper in the researchers' section: "Rational Management of Antibiotic Therapy in Dentistry: Current Evidence and Prescription Practice Analysis." Additionally, he conducted two continuing medical education courses for practicing dentists.
