Alte University International Medical School Graduates Achieve Outstanding Results in FMGE 2025

Graduates of Alte University's International Medical School have achieved remarkable success in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2025, once again demonstrating the university’s strong academic standards and commitment to excellence in medical education.

According to the 2025 results, Alte University graduates recorded a 48.77% FMGE pass rate, more than double India's national average of approximately 23%. The university's performance also showed significant improvement throughout the year, increasing from a 40.00% pass rate in the June session to 48.77% in December.

Particularly noteworthy is that this improvement was achieved alongside a substantial increase in the number of candidates taking the examination. While 60 Alte University graduates appeared for the FMGE in June, that number rose to 162 in December. At the same time, the number of successful candidates increased from 24 to 79, further reflecting the quality of academic preparation and the university’s continuous progress.

Based on the December 2025 FMGE session, Alte University's pass rate exceeded the overall Georgian average by 16.41 percentage points. Among Georgian universities with at least 20 candidates participating in the examination, Alte University ranked second in terms of pass rate. Additionally, the university advanced from approximately 12th place to 4th place nationwide in the number of successful candidates.

According to an analysis of the official National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) data, and applying the same minimum threshold of 20 candidates used in the published rankings, Alte University is estimated to rank 17th globally by FMGE pass rate, placing it among the world's Top 20 universities in this category.
