April 4, 2024 marked the 75th anniversary of the founding of NATO.

Alte University and the youth non-governmental organization YATA Georgia, organized by the associate professor of Alte University, Levan Sikharulidze, held a joint conference in which 30 students from different universities of Georgia participated.

At the conference, the challenges facing NATO, against the backdrop of the ongoing war in Ukraine, were reviewed both in Europe and in the world.

They talked about the hybrid war, which is aimed at the falsification and replacement of values by the Kremlin.

Among the speakers were Alte University associate professors Teona Akubardia, Leonide Sikharulidze, Giorgi Bilanishvili, a researcher at the University of Georgia, and Corneli Kakachia, a professor at the Georgian Institute of Politics. The meeting was conducted in the form of reports and question-and-answer sessions.
