Anna Gvetadze, Head of Research Support and Project Development Department and Associate Professor at Alte University, recently participated in an enlightening international conference in China.
Anna presented her research on "Social Work Services in Ethnic Minority Areas" during Session 6. Her presentation provided in-depth analysis and practical recommendations for social work practitioners and policymakers to enhance cultural integration and support ethnic minorities effectively.
Additionally, Anna had the honor of delivering a lecture titled 'Cultural Diversity and Social Integration' at our partner institution, Lanzhou University. The lecture focused on the acculturation strategies of ethnic minorities, highlighting factors such as language proficiency, education, and societal attitudes. Anna's insights emphasized the importance of developing culturally sensitive social work services to address integration challenges and promote positive interethnic relations.
