Vilnius University of Applied Sciences (VUAS), established in 2000 in Lithuania’s capital, is a state-funded institution offering professionally oriented bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. It focuses on practical skills and applied research in areas such as business, technology, engineering, social sciences, and health care. The university maintains close ties with industry to ensure its programs meet current labor market needs.
VUAS actively participates in international cooperation, including Erasmus+ programs, student and staff exchanges, and joint projects with European universities. It aims to prepare graduates for both local and international careers by combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience.
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Alte University and VUAS. The collaboration offers diverse opportunities for students, academic, and administrative staff to gain international experience. The agreement between the universities will facilitate the organization of exchange programs for academic staff and students, joint research projects, exchange of teaching materials and literature, as well as the development of joint academic programs.
