Transilvania University of Brașov

Transilvania University of Brașov (UNITBV), established in 1990, is a public Romanian institution with 18 faculties and approximately 20,000 students. It offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees across engineering, sciences, humanities, medicine, social sciences, and arts. UNITBV houses a multidisciplinary Research & Development Institute with around 30 research centers funded via EU grants.

 

UNITBV has strong international engagement, signing Erasmus+ and CEEPUS agreements with partners in 80+ countries, supporting student and faculty mobility. It also offers Romanian language preparatory programs and merit-based scholarships for foreign students. The university collaborates closely with industry for internships, research partnerships, and regional development .

 

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Alte University and Transilvania University of Brașov. The collaboration offers diverse opportunities for students, academic, and administrative staff to gain international experience. The agreement between the universities will facilitate the organization of exchange programs for academic staff and students, joint research projects, exchange of teaching materials and literature, as well as the development of joint academic programs.
