The winning team - “Skill Issue”- from Alte University’s local hackathon - “NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025 Zugdidi” has been named among the global nominees!
The team has been selected as an international nominee from more than 11,500 projects worldwide.
The team worked on the Commercializing Low Earth Orbit (LEO) challenge. With guidance from Alte University lecturers, they created a remote automated workshop called “Sateliko,” designed to enable the production of reusable nano-satellites. Its purpose is to provide students and researchers with the opportunity to explore and collect data from low Earth orbit without the need for rocket launches.
Alte University congratulates the team on this outstanding achievement and wishes them success as they reach new heights on the international stage!
