The University of Craiova, founded in 1947 and granted full university status in 1965, is a leading public university in southwest Romania. It comprises 12 faculties, 41 research centers, and 10 doctoral schools, offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees across a wide range of fields such as sciences, humanities, engineering, and economics.
The university is integrated into the European academic space via membership in EUA, IAU, AUF, BSUN, and others. It has 122 Erasmus+ partners and over 25 other international collaborations across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The university also leads INCESA, a major regional research hub supporting practical and applied research.
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Alte University and the University of Craiova. The collaboration offers diverse opportunities for students, academic, and administrative staff to gain international experience. The agreement between the universities will facilitate the organization of exchange programs for academic staff and students, joint research projects, exchange of teaching materials and literature, as well as the development of joint academic programs.
