The collegial mutual attendance process at Alte University

In order to promote continuous quality improvement at Alte University, a collegial peer review process was implemented during December 2025 and January 2026. The initiative aimed to enhance the teaching and learning process, strengthen professional support for academic and visiting staff, and facilitate the sharing of best practices.

Within the framework of this process, administrative staff and lecturers, guided by the principles of collegial cooperation, conducted observations of lectures and seminars at the Alte University campus and the Ivane Bokeria University Clinic. The peer review was conducted with a developmental focus, emphasizing constructive feedback and experience sharing.

As a result of the peer review, several key areas for improvement were identified, including the diversification of teaching and learning methods, increased student engagement, the integration of modern educational technologies, effective lecture planning, and improved time management.

The findings will inform the planning of targeted professional development activities for academic staff and contribute to the enhancement of internal quality assurance mechanisms. Overall, the process is expected to further strengthen teaching quality and reinforce a student-centered learning environment at the university.

Alte University remains committed to supporting its academic staff and implementing initiatives that promote the continuous development of teaching excellence.
