2023–2024
Technovation Girls is a global educational program designed to empower girls and young women through technology, entrepreneurship, and social innovation. By participating in the project, girls aged 13 to 18 learn how to design and develop mobile applications that address real social challenges, while simultaneously acquiring technical, business, and presentation skills.
The program annually brings together thousands of teenagers from more than 100 countries worldwide, promoting gender balance and increasing women’s participation in the technology sector.
In 2023 and 2024, Alte University served as the official representative of Technovation Girls in Georgia. The university hosted local events, provided mentorship support, and facilitated the program’s regional outreach. In 2023, nearly 500 girls and 150 mentors participated, while in 2024, the program engaged over 700 girls and 250 mentors.
