Start-up Marathon 2026 begins!

Alte University is pleased to announce the launch of its annual initiative, “Start-up Marathon.”

 

This year, the project has been expanded, with a total prize fund of 13,000 GEL.

 

The program is open to students in Grades X, XI, and XII from across Georgia who have innovative and promising start-up ideas.

 

Participants are required to form teams of three to four students and take part in the marathon, during which they will develop and refine their ideas with the support of professional mentors. The Start-up Marathon aims to introduce participants to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and guide them through the key stages of transforming an idea into a viable project. The program also fosters teamwork, innovative thinking, and effective resource management skills.

 

Project Stages

  • Registration of innovative business ideas and participants
  • Selection of shortlisted ideas
  • Training sessions for authors of selected ideas
  • Mentorship and guided project development
  • Final event featuring the presentation and announcement of winning ideas
     

Awards and Support
 

  • Alte University will award a cash prize of 5,000 GEL to the author of the selected idea to support its implementation. In addition, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center will provide mentorship, assistance in idea development, and support in identifying potential investors.
  • The General Sponsor, Liberty Bank, will provide 5,000 GEL in financial support to its selected project. Additionally, Liberty Bank will offer internship opportunities (for three participants), leadership training programs designed specifically for girls, access to the Liberty LMS learning platform, masterclasses in artificial intelligence, and social media support.
  • The Project Sponsor, Easy Pay, will award 3,000 GEL to the selected team.
  • FINO will provide a service package valued at 3,000 GEL to its selected team.
  • Entrepreneur Georgia will offer media support for the selected idea.
  • GITA will support the selected team in developing a prototype of their project.
