The annual school project of Alte University, "START-UP Marathon 2025," has been successfully completed. The jury selected the 11 best ideas from 500 registered innovative projects.
At the final event, the teams presented their ideas, developed in collaboration with a team of mentors over the course of two months.
The project’s supporters and jury members identified and awarded their favorites:
Alte University's favorite was the team of 11th graders from Komarov Tbilisi Physics and Mathematics Public School N199 – Polymorph, who were awarded a study grant.
Entrepreneur Georgia became a media supporter for three teams (G-AID, Astrobrain, and Space/Sivrce), giving them the opportunity to present their ideas to a wide audience.
GITA • Tech Park will assist four teams (Sivrce, G-AID, Polymorph, and Aquaguard) in creating prototypes. Additionally, instead of just one, a fourth team was also awarded participation in a mentoring program.
The overall winner, selected by TBC, was Team Sivrce, who received a 5,000 GEL cash prize to implement their idea.
The goal of the START-UP Marathon is to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and business skills among young people. The project offers high school students from across the country a unique opportunity to develop their ideas with the guidance of leading professionals, transform them into business models, and gain funding for implementation.
