Alte University and Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University are offering a five-day student camp for students interested in the field of Agrotechnologies at any academic level.
The camp, organized within the framework of the CIF project, will be held in cooperation with the Farmers’ Association, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), and the University of Montpellier. It will take place in Telavi from December 8 to 12.
Titled “Integration of Innovative Agrotechnologies into Educational Programs,” the camp will introduce students to modern agrotechnological approaches, including the use of drones and microcontrollers in agriculture.
The intensive five-day program includes lectures, practical sessions, and group work led by Georgian and international experts.

Participants will receive certificates upon successful completion of the program.
Program Overview
This five-day intensive program combines lectures, hands-on workshops, and teamwork sessions led by Georgian and international experts.
The program includes:
• Expert presentations from SLU, Telavi State University, Alte University, and the Farmers’ Association of Georgia, and Montpellier Agro University;
• Practical training in drone operation and smart agrotechnology's;
• Group projects and student presentations;
• Cultural and networking activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
• Be active students enrolled in an accredited higher education institution in Georgia (fields of study: information technology, engineering, biology, agriculture, or related disciplines);
• Have a minimum English proficiency level of B2 (proven by national exam results or a certificate);
• Demonstrate interest in working with drones and microcontrollers.
About the Project
The project “Integration of Innovative Agrotechnologies into Educational Programs,” implemented under the CIF Grant Program, is carried out by Telavi State University in partnership with Alte University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU).
The project aims to integrate innovative agrotechnologies into Georgian educational programs through the introduction of new elective courses, including:
• Drone Operation
• Bioinformatics
• Applied Agrotechnologies
• Smart Systems for Biodata
The project promotes the exchange of European experience and the advancement of agrotechnological education in Georgia.
