National Teacher Award 2025

Alte University has proudly supported the National Teacher Award for the past three years.

Alte University's Teacher of the Year is Maia Lapiashvili from Dedoplistskaro Public School No. 1. Ani Amiranashvili, Vice President of Alte University for Marketing and Business Development, presented her with a cash prize and expressed the university’s support. The winner of the project and the holder of the National Teacher Prize is Zhanna Khachatryan from Akhalkalaki Public School No. 3.

Maia teaches Geography, Civic Education, and Natural Sciences. She has 26 years of teaching experience and is actively involved in various training and coaching programs.

The National Teacher Award plays an important role in promoting and encouraging the teaching profession. It is noteworthy that Alte University, together with members of the Teacher Award Top Ten Club, is involved in other initiatives as well. The university hosts annual conferences and will continue to actively support this project and teachers in the future.
