A two-day MedTech Hackathon on the topic “AI for Care”, organized by Alte University’s International Medical School and Information Technology School, has successfully concluded!
Throughout the project, students from grades X–XII had the opportunity to explore innovations in the fields of artificial intelligence and medical technologies. Within the hackathon, participants worked in teams to tackle real medical challenges.
During the first day, the teams developed their innovative ideas and prototypes, supported by student-experts from Alte University. On the second day, they presented their projects to the jury.
The project partners and jury members selected and awarded the winning teams:
- Alte University’s - Team “PILL ME”, which received a 1,000 GEL cash prize and a scholarship to the Alte University & Buckswood Career Development Camp.
- 4Hospitals selected two winning teams and awarded them cash prizes to support their project implementation:
- “Calmify” - 2,000 GEL
- “PILL ME” - 1,000 GEL
- GITA • Tech Park selected “Calmify” and will support the team in developing and implementing their startup.
- MediMind awarded its selected team “Green Code” a 500 GEL prize and will provide mentorship to help them bring their idea to life.
Each participant received a certificate of participation at the end of the event.
