Marmara University

Founded in 1883, Marmara University is one of the largest and oldest public universities in Turkey, located in Istanbul. It offers a wide array of academic programs through 17 faculties, including engineering, law, health sciences, social sciences, and humanities. The university is distinguished by its multilingual instruction, offering courses in Turkish, English, French, German, and Arabic, which supports its diverse student body.

 

The university has a strong international presence with over 700 Erasmus agreements and many global partnerships. Marmara University emphasizes academic excellence, research, and cultural exchange to prepare students for careers in a globalized world.

 

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Alte University and Marmara University. The collaboration offers diverse opportunities for students, academic, and administrative staff to gain international experience. The agreement between the universities will facilitate the organization of exchange programs for academic staff and students, joint research projects, exchange of teaching materials and literature, as well as the development of joint academic programs.
