As part of the ERASMUS+ Staff Mobility for Teaching program, Mariam Sharia, a guest lecturer at Alte University, conducted a working visit to the Pomeranian University in Słupsk (Poland).
During her visit, Mariam delivered engaging lecture-workshops for students and IT faculty members on the topic: "Design Thinking: A Problem-Solving Approach in IT." Participants explored the Design Thinking methodology, which focuses on utilizing user-centered approaches to solve complex problems and build optimal products.
Additionally, she held a specialized session for Graphic Design students titled "How Graphic Design Works as a Visual Communication Tool." Through various interactive activities and practical case studies, students discovered how combinations of shapes and colors effectively convey specific emotions and moods.
Alte University continuously strives to create such international opportunities for its staff, fostering knowledge sharing and strengthening global academic partnerships.
