From April 27 to May 1, 2026, Alte University hosted International Staff Week 2026, welcoming representatives of higher education institutions and field specialists from various countries, including Latvia, Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Portugal, and Uzbekistan.
Throughout the international week, participants discussed key topics related to the development of modern higher education, including the role of rankings and self-assessment tools in institutional development, the international significance of innovation and entrepreneurship centers, quality assurance mechanisms, the development of research culture, and European perspectives on the internationalization of research. The sessions were attended by Alte University’s academic and administrative staff.
Alongside the working meetings, guests participated in cultural activities, attended a workshop on the Georgian language and culture, and visited the Georgian National Museum.
International Staff Week 2026 concluded with a mini exhibition, where participating institutions introduced Alte University students to their universities and international opportunities.
The event provided participants with an opportunity to strengthen international partnerships, supporting the exchange of experience between universities, the development of joint research projects, and the implementation of innovations in the field of education.
