“Informal Education Ideas Competition” has been successfully completed

The project “Informal Education Ideas Competition”, organized by the Teachers’ Council initiative at Alte University, has been successfully completed!

 

Finalist teams, after receiving special training, were given additional individual mentoring sessions to help them prepare for their final presentations.

 

on May 16 the participants presented their ideas to jury members and the audience at the Alte University. Making a decision and identifying the winning ideas proved to be a challenging process for the jury. However, with the help of predetermined evaluation criteria, the three best ideas were selected - those deemed most likely to contribute to the popularization of informal education in schools.

  • Sophio Kukhilava, Tsvirma Public School – “Digital Room” 
  • Natia Davitaia, St. Alexis Shushania Orthodox School-Gymnasium – “Voice of Technology”

     

Alte University awarded each winner a cash prize of 1,000 GEL for the implementation of their idea. Semi-finalists and finalists received certificates in recognition of their participation.

 

Supporting teachers is a priority for Alte University. In collaboration with the Teachers’ Council, the university plans to implement a number of similar initiatives and events in the future.
