Organized by Alte University’s School of Law and Social Sciences, representatives of IDS Healthcare Foundation held an informational meeting and practical workshop on sexual and reproductive health for students of the Psychology and Georgian-language Medicine programs.
During the meeting, students were introduced to the activities, mission, and volunteer and practical programs offered by IDS Healthcare Foundation. Participants received detailed information about opportunities to engage in these programs and the professional experience that such practical activities provide.
A significant part of the event was dedicated to rapid testing training. Through a practical learning format, students received training on the implementation of testing procedures, including pre- and post-test counseling processes, which will enable them to independently plan and conduct testing campaigns in the future.
The event included both presentation-based and practical components and aimed to raise students’ awareness, support the development of professional skills, and encourage the acquisition of practical experience in the healthcare field.
