Global hackathon - Teens in AI has been successfully completed

This year, for the first time, the global hackathon - Teens in AI 2024 was organized by the School of Information Technologies of Alte University in Georgia.

At the end of the project, 3 winning teams of Teens in AI Georgia 2024 were identified and awarded with special prizes.

The mentor-coordinator of the first place team "Carrier Connection" was Nodar Lagurashvili, a student of the computer science program of Alte University. The video about the team's work was sent to the international jury of the project, which will name the winner on April 25.

The members of the winning team - "Carrier Connection" created a chatbot Nodo based on artificial intelligence, which helps young people, based on their interests and skills, in career planning, choosing the desired profession, university and faculty and searching for information.

The second place was shared by two teams: GPT Nation and Code – AI.

The GPT Nation project partner, the United Nations Association of Georgia, within the framework of the USAID program "Unity in Diversity", awarded the AI-inteligentsia team chosen by the jury, which was composed of members of the Kutaisi and Marneuli Youth Centers.

The Teens in AI 2024 global hackathon was held in Georgia for the first time this year by the Alte University School of Information Technologies, and it was completely voluntary. The project aimed to popularize artificial intelligence and raise awareness in this direction among students.
