Alte University continues its active participation in the Erasmus+ project LIFESTRAND (Life Support Training and Dissemination).
Within the framework of the project, intensive emergency aid training sessions were delivered by trainers certified through Alte University. During the first phase of implementation, Alte University organized 32 training sessions, attended by over 400 participants.
The trainings were conducted for representatives of the following institutions:
- Children and Adolescent Rehabilitation Center “puzzle”
- Academician Ilia Vekua Physics and Mathematics Public School No. 42, Tbilisi
- Lashari School
- Kutaisi Progress School
- Tbilisi Progress School
The project is ongoing, and further emergency aid training sessions are planned across various regions of Georgia.
Alte University is a partner institution of the Erasmus+ CBHE LIFESTRAND project, which aims to enhance emergency care and pre-hospital trauma management competencies among university academic staff, students, and populations residing in high-risk and military-affected areas.
The primary objective of the project is to strengthen first aid and life-support skills among university personnel, students, and representatives of local communities.
