Alte University announces Erasmus+ and bilateral exchange programs for the Fall Semester of 2026:
• The Erasmus+ program fully funds student participation, covering tuition fees, a monthly stipend, and travel expenses.
• The bilateral exchange program requires students to partially cover accommodation and travel costs, and Alte University may consider providing financial support. During mobility, students do not pay any tuition fee at the host university.
Admission to exchange programs is announced at 7 partner universities:
1. University of Alicante (Spain)
Type: Erasmus+ (full funding) – 1 place

2. Medical University of Plovdiv (Bulgaria)
Type: Erasmus+ (full funding) – 2 places
Fields of study: Medicine, Dentistry
3. LBC – Lithuania Business School (Lithuania)
Type: Erasmus+ (full funding) – 1 place
Fields of study: IT, Business, Tourism
4. KVK - KLAIPĖDOS VALSTYBINĖ KOLEGIJA (Lithuania)
Type: Erasmus+ (full funding) – 1 place
Fields of study: Business, Management, Tourism
5. INTELI – Institute of Technology and Leadership (Brazil)
Type: Bilateral (co-financing) – 2 places
Fields of study: Computer Science (Program specifics: CS 80%, Business 20%)
6. University of Coimbra (Portugal)
Type: Bilateral -
1 place funded by Alte University;
3 places with student co-financing.
Fields of study: Business, Law, Medicine, Computer Science.
7. Technical University of Liberec (Czech Republic)
Type: Full funding - Trilateral Ambassadors / Czech – German – Polish Consortium Grant
Fields of study: All directions available at the host university
Note: Only students of Alte University who are citizens of Asian, African, and Latin American countries may apply to the Technical University of Liberec. Applicants must participate in an international competition. The final decision is made by the consortium.
Application Deadlines and Stages
- 30/03/2026 – Fill out the application form using the provided link (the form can only be accessed via an Alte University email account);
- 31/03–01/04/2026 – Initial selection of applications (verification of eligibility);
- 02/04/2026 – English language proficiency test (if necessary);
- 03–06/04/2026 – Interviews with selected candidates (only shortlisted applicants will be contacted);
07/04/2026 – Final decision of the Commission.
The candidate nominated by Alte University for an exchange program must be ultimately approved by the host university. After that, the student, together with the university, prepares a Learning Agreement, which specifies the subjects and credits to be completed during the exchange semester. This significantly simplifies the recognition of ECTS credits obtained abroad upon returning to Georgia.
Who can participate in the competition?
A student who:
• Has accumulated at least 60 ECTS credits by the Fall Semester of 2026 within the one-cycle Bachelor's / Medicine and Dentistry program;
• Within the framework of the Master’s program – at least 30 ECTS credits;
• The Spring Semester of 2026 is not the final semester of the relevant educational level;
• Has an academic performance (GPA) of at least 2.5.
The application must be attached (in English, PDF format):
- 1 letter of recommendation from the academic staff of the relevant school;
- Motivation letter (1 page);
- CV / resume;
- Copy of ID card or passport;
- Transcript of Records;
- A document confirming English language proficiency (English language level: at least B1 (CEFR)). The level can be confirmed in the following ways: International Certificate of Language Proficiency, in the courses taken in the English language course of Alte University (min. B1.2 level) by passing English-language subjects (min. 20 ECTS), or by passing an internal test at the Alte University).
Assessment criteria (100 points in total):
- Academic performance – 25 points
- Resume – 15 points
- Motivation – 10 points
- Recommendation – 10 points
- Language competence – 20 points
- Interview – 20 points
