Davit Kikvidze

Dean of the Business School

Davit Kikvidze is a financial technology expert and Associate Professor of Management. He is currently the Dean of the Business School at Alte University.
 

He received his education in Georgia at the Faculty of Economics and Business of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and also holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from The George Washington University.
 

His professional experience spans financial institutions, fintech companies, as well as the non-governmental and educational sectors. Since 2021, he has been the Chairman of the Georgian Fintech Association, where he works on industry development, strategic partnerships, and strengthening relations with stakeholders. He is also a member of the Open Banking Project Committee initiated by the National Bank of Georgia, where he represents TBC Bank and contributes to the implementation of regulations and the development of API-based products. In addition, he serves as an invited fintech expert for the World Bank’s Business Ready project.
 

Between 2016 and 2023, he worked in various business sectors, including as Senior Project Manager at Georgian Industrial Group; Executive Director of Projects at Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking; and Head of the Digital Services Department at Liberty Bank, among others.
 

Since 2017, Davit Kikvidze has been engaged in academic work at different universities and is the author of the “Financial Technologies” course, which, thanks to his initiative, is now taught at five universities across Georgia.
