Course about Problem-solving and decision-making techniques

Department for Lifelong Learning of Alte University conducted a training course for employees of the company "HeidelbergCement Georgia" on the topic: "Problem Solving and Decision-Making Techniques"

 

The goal of the course was to introduce workshop participants to the 6-step problem-solving method and provide them with the opportunity to use specific tools for each step through simulation tasks. The training used the ,,learning by doing” method, which includes: Using specific tools, through simulation tasks, immediately during the training (Concrete experience- doing, having an experience); Analysis of errors and findings by participants (Reflective observation- reviewing /reflecting on the experience); Introduction to the theoretical foundation of the instrument (Abstract conceptualization-concluding/learning from the experience).

 

The course was led by Marika Nebieridze – Business trainer, who is also HR consultant and Guest Lecturer at Alte University).

 

Duration of the course was 10 contact hours. 

 

After successful completion of the course all participants received a certificate.
