At the initiative of the Teachers’ Council of Alte University, an online certificate course in artificial intelligence for educators titled “Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom” will be conducted. The course will be led by AI and Digitalization Expert Consultant Nino Gorgadze.
Nino Gorgadze is an internationally certified project management professional (PMP, PMI-ACP/PMI) with over 20 years of professional experience. She is the Director of IPMA Georgia and an Associate Professor. During the course, she will share both theoretical knowledge and practical insights with participants, drawing on real-world examples.
The course is designed to enhance participants’ understanding of artificial intelligence, including its principles, rules of use, and practical applications. It will support educators in deepening their knowledge of AI and effectively integrating AI tools into the teaching and learning process.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Use artificial intelligence safely, taking into account potential risks and data confidentiality;
- Design effective prompts and tasks for AI tools;
- Apply AI in lesson planning, preparation of teaching materials, assessment, and feedback;
- Distinguish between appropriate AI-assisted work and plagiarism.
Following the training, participants will receive access to a personal AI assistant and a set of learning and assessment templates.
The Online Certificate Course in Artificial Intelligence will take place on February 20–21 at 18:00.
Please note that the number of participants is limited, and only 30 teachers will be selected.
A certificate will be awarded upon completion of the course.
