Alte University and Georgian Banking Association signed a memorandum of cooperation. In the framework of this partnership, an open seminar was held on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues - “ESG Challenges and Opportunities on the Example of Developing Countries”.
The seminar served to raise awareness and knowledge in the ESG direction and covered topics such as: sustainable financial instruments (e.g. green, social and sustainable loans), applied methodologies and frameworks for integrating ESG into decisions, major global initiatives, principles of responsible banking and initiatives, ESG-related information disclosure issues and the ESG regulatory environment in Georgia and on the example of developing countries.
The event was led by Levan Gogoladze - ESG and Sustainable Finance Projects Coordinator at the Georgian Banking Association.
At the end of the event, a survey was organized via the Kahoot! platform.
The winners were identified and presented with gifts, each participant received a personalized certificate.
