Alte University’s new initiative, the Student Research Hub, was successfully launched. The first meeting was attended by students from the International Medical School.
The Student Research Hub is an institutional initiative of Alte University that helps students get involved in research and participate in various activities, strengthening a research-oriented academic environment. The Hub serves as a platform that brings together academic staff, invited lecturers, and students to promote research collaboration and mentorship.
The event was opened by Irma Grdelidze, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research, and Giorgi Gabisonia, Dean of the International School of Medicine. They addressed the students, discussed the importance of the Hub, and encouraged them to take an active role in this initiative.
During the event Alte University’s academic staff presented several projects awarded by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, alongside various other research presentations.
The Student Research Hub will contribute to the development of students’ research competencies, strengthen collaboration between academic staff and students, and support the establishment of a sustainable research culture within the university. The Hub will initiate upcoming meetings for students from all schools of Alte University.
