Alte University is hosting medical students from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in Egypt. The guests are in Georgia for a one-month clinical rotation program.
On the first day of the visit, the students met with Giorgi Gabisonia, Dean of the International Medical School, and Tornike Bakakuri, Director of the International Relations Department. During the meeting, the guests learned about Alte University's academic programs and student opportunities.
As part of the campus tour, the students explored the university’s infrastructure, learning spaces, and innovative simulation centers, where they were introduced to modern technologies and approaches to practical education.
The students' visit continued at the affiliated clinic, "Vivamedi" Medical Center. During the visit, they met with the clinical manager, Zurab Chkhaidze, and became acquainted with the workflow, clinical environment, and the specifics of practical training.
The clinical rotations will continue through August 28. During this period, the Egyptian students will work alongside Georgian doctors and gain valuable practical experience
