Alte University hosted Professor and business consultant Gabriel Donleavy from the University of New England.
Professor Donleavy is the author of seven books and more than 100 academic publications. Throughout his distinguished career, he has led major faculties at the University of Macau and the University of Western Sydney and is widely recognized for his contributions to academia and business education.
As part of his visit, Professor Donleavy delivered a seminar on “Accountability.”
During the session, he discussed the role of accountability in democratic institutions, judicial systems, and organizations. Particular attention was given to systemic failures and to opposing phenomena such as immunity, impunity, and privilege, which can undermine accountability and institutional effectiveness.
The seminar was attended by Alte University students, as well as members of the academic and administrative staff.
