On May 13, Alte University hosted a university delegation from Egypt’s Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT).
The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of AASTMT, and included Prof. Mohamed Essam, Dean of Admissions; Dr. Rowaida Elemary, Head of International Relations; Ms. Farah Fouad, Head of Public Affairs; and Prof. Mohamed Hisham, Dean of the College of Medicine.
The delegation met with Alte University’s President Ramaz Kukuladze, Vice Presidents, Deans of Schools, and academic staff. During the visit, they explored the university’s academic programs and learned more about the opportunities available to students at Alte.
The guests also visited Alte’s clinical bases, where they observed the practical aspects of medical education.
Established in 1972 under the Arab League, AASTMT is one of the region’s leading institutions in maritime studies, engineering, technology, computer science and logistics. The university is known for its modern infrastructure, diverse academic programs and commitment to helping students grow both academically and professionally.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed, paving the way for exciting international opportunities for Alte University’s students and staff.
