The European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF) 2024 was held at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, focusing on the theme: “Enhancing Education, Research, and Community Engagement through Quality Assurance.”
The forum was attended by Lasha Macharashvili, Head of Alte University's Evaluation Office, who delivered a conference paper titled: “Building Cooperation Culture with Industry in Institutional Reviews: Case of Georgia.”
The conference paper explored the involvement of employer experts in external institutional evaluations of higher education institutions in Georgia. It also addressed the challenges faced in this area and outlined perspectives for future development.
The session gathered higher education professionals from various European countries. Following the presentation, a discussion took place, during which participants shared their experiences and exchanged views on stakeholder engagement in ensuring the quality of higher education.
