Algebra Bernays University, founded in 1998, is a private Croatian institution specializing in digital technology and applied computing. It serves over 1,600 students in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, with nine bachelor (e.g., Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Game Dev, Data Science, Digital Marketing, Multimedia Design) and six master's programs including Data Science, Applied Computer Engineering, and e‑Leadership MBA.
Algebra Bernays University is well known for its industry-aligned teaching and strong international presence. It holds official partnerships with major tech providers (Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, Adobe, Red Hat, etc.). Many programs are offered in English, and the university maintains student exchanges with over 140 universities. Its research arm, Algebra Research LAB, collaborates with public institutions and industries on projects in AI, IoT, cybersecurity, digital economy, and digital arts.
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Alte University and Algebra Bernays University. The collaboration offers diverse opportunities for students, academic, and administrative staff to gain international experience. The agreement between the universities will facilitate the organization of exchange programs for academic staff and students, joint research projects, exchange of teaching materials and literature, as well as the development of joint academic programs.
