A delegation from Tsinghua University, one of China's leading higher education institutions, visited Alte University!
The delegation visited Georgia as part of Tsinghua University's Cyrus Tang Student Leadership Program. The group included academic faculty members, as well as MD and PhD students from various academic disciplines.
The meeting was dedicated to discussions on key topics, including:
- Cooperation between Georgia and China in the field of higher education;
- Expanding student and academic mobility;
- Georgia's role as a "Middle Corridor" hub for education and global partnerships.
At the end of the visit, the guests visited the Confucius Institute at Alte University, where they learned in detail about its ongoing educational and cultural initiatives.
The event was also attended by Mr. Zhang Wengang, Director of the Confucius Institute at Alte University, Mr. Gocha Mikautadze, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; and Mr. Chen Zhiyu, First Secretary of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, overseeing education, culture, and tourism affairs.
