On June 9, Alte University will host a public discussion on the topic of the role of the judge in the competition process.
During the meeting will discuss:
An important principle for criminal proceedings - is adversarial and the role of the judge in this process based on Georgian and American criminal examples.
The speakers for the discussion will be:
- Alexander Iashvili-Judge of Tbilisi City Court, Associate Professor of Alte University;
- Kevin Burke - Adviser to the Department of Justice on Judicial Reform at the US Embassy;
- Eka Popkhadze - Legal issues Adviser to the Embassy of the United States of America;
