The Opportunity to Obtain French Diploma for Alte University Students

Alte University continues to strengthen its international partnerships and offers business students a new and significant opportunity - to study at one of France’s leading business schools, MBS School of Business in Montpellier, with the prospect of obtaining a French diploma.

Within the framework of this partnership, starting from 2026, students enrolled in Alte University’s Business Administration programs will have the opportunity to continue their studies at MBS during the final year of their respective degree level. Importantly, the program does not require an additional academic year: all years of study completed at Alte University, as well as accumulated ECTS credits, are fully recognized.

The program is open to both undergraduate and master’s students of Alte University’s School of Business:

  • Undergraduate students may apply for the program starting from either the second or third year of study. Students will continue their education in the Bachelor of International Business Administration (BIBA) program and, upon successful completion, will receive the corresponding diploma recognized by the French state;
  • Master’s students will have the opportunity, starting from the second year, to continue their studies at MBS in various MSc programs, including Finance, Digital Marketing, AI for Business, Supply Chain Managements, and others.

The primary language of instruction at MBS is English. will also have access to French language courses while at MBS.

One of the key advantages of the program is the preferential conditions offered to Alte University students - the application fee is waived, and tuition is offered at a special rate.

The program provides financial support for students enrolled in Alte University’s Business Administration programs (undergraduate and master’s). For undergraduate students, Alte University’s standard tuition fee of 2,250 GEL applies during the first two years of study for the Georgian-language program, while the tuition fee for international students enrolled in the English-language program is $3,500 per academic year.

Similar conditions apply to master’s students - during the first year, studies are conducted at Alte University under the standard tuition fee of 2,900 GEL, while in the final year at MBS, students receive €2,500 in financial support and pay €14,700 instead of the standard €17,200.

Student selection will be carried out through a competitive process and will include evaluation of academic performance (GPA), proof of English language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, or equivalent; If the student doesn’t have such certificate, an internal MBS test), completion of an online application, and an individual interview.

During the study period in France, MBS provides administrative support to students, including assistance with visa procedures, registration, and banking matters. The school also helps with accommodation search and offers student services and consultations. Accommodation and daily living expenses are the responsibility of the student.

Commenting on the importance of the partnership, David Kikvidze, Dean of the School of Business at Alte University, stated:

“Cooperation with MBS is an important part of our School of Business development strategy. This program enables students to receive education aligned with European standards in an international academic environment and prepares them for the professional challenges they will face in the global labor market.”

This partnership aligns with Alte University’s strategic goal of offering students diverse international opportunities and education of European quality. Such collaborations allow students to gain international experience and build a solid foundation for successful careers both in Georgia and abroad.
