The network academy of the American company Cisco Systems was founded on the foundation of Alte University's IT school.

The Alte University Cisco Academy network academy of Cisco Systems (cisco.netacad.com), one of the most famous companies in the world, was founded on the basis of the Alte University Information Technology (IT) School. Cisco Systems Inc. In 1984, it was created in America and represents the largest network of academies in the field of information technology in the world. Network academies of Cisco Systems unite 190 countries and hundreds of thousands of students. Their goal is to share knowledge and promote the development of new skills for those interested in computer networking, cyber security, and IoT programming.

The establishment of the aforementioned academy at Alte University will give the students of the computer science program in Georgian and English the opportunity to receive an international certificate of the Cisco Academy in parallel with the bachelor's academic degree, which will contribute to their professional advancement and employment, not only in Georgia, but in any country of the world. The training portal of the Cisco Academy is connected to the employment hub, which unites more than 60,000 international companies and offers students with a certificate employment in different countries of the world. Cisco CCNA 7.0 training courses will be led by international Cisco network trainers Giorgi Gamdlishvili and Nani Arabuli, who have more than 10 years of experience in teaching these courses.

It combines two undergraduate programs in computer science for Georgian and international students.
