The Interaction of Human Rights and the Law of War: The Case of Ukraine

As part of Human Rights Week, on December 6, Alte University will host a public discussion on the topic: “Interaction between human rights and the law of war: the example of Ukraine.”

Professor Natia Kalandarishvili-Müller of Alte University Law School will hold a public discussion. The discussion will concern Russia's war against Ukraine. In particular, what international legal obligations does Russia have toward Ukraine? The speaker discusses the problematic aspects of international law in force during war in the context of international humanitarian law and human rights law.
