Research Skills Lab is a new initiative by Alte University aimed at strengthening the research capabilities of the university's academic and visiting staff, as well as its students, and supporting their success in the international scientific community.
As part of this initiative, four targeted training sessions were held during the current semester, tailored to the specific needs of various academic fields:
- "Strategies for Publishing Medical Research in High Impact Factor International Journals"
- "Strategies for Publishing Legal Research: International Standards and Practice"
- "Publishing Business Research in International Journals: Standards and Practical Approaches"
- "Publishing IT Research in International Journals: Standards and Practical Approaches"
The sessions were led by leading experts in their respective fields, who provided participants with both in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical recommendations based on their own professional experience.
During the training sessions, participants discussed the process of preparing international scientific publications, criteria for selecting high-quality journals, manuscript structuring, the nuances of the peer-review process, common mistakes, academic ethics, and practical approaches essential for successful publication.
Participants also had the opportunity to get answers to key questions and share their own experiences.
The Research Skills Lab will actively continue its work, offering Alte University’s academic community even more diverse practical training sessions and professional development opportunities to further enhance their research skills and foster success in the international academic space.
