International students who are holders of valid visas or/and residence permits determined by the Ordinance № 256 of the Government of Georgia firstly must obtain their immigration VISA according to their citizenship upon their arrival in Georgia. To obtain Georgian immigration D3 category visa not later than 45 days before their lawful stay in Georgia expires. Please make sure to check with the details about how to apply for the D3 VISA: https://geoconsul.gov.ge/en/entering-georgia. After obtaining the D3 VISA, they will be eligible to apply for their Temporary Residency Card.
