National Aviation University (NAU), established in 1933 as Kyiv Aviation Institute, became a national university in 2000 . It is one of the world’s leading aviation universities, serving around 25,000 students, including 1,500 international students from over 55 countries . NAU offers a wide spectrum of programs - from Aerospace and Air Navigation to Law, Economics, Cybersecurity, and International Relations - across five institutes, ten faculties, six colleges, and two lyceums
NAU’s strengths lie in applied aviation education and international training. It hosts ICAO European Regional Training Centers and collaborates closely with the International Civil Aviation Organization . The university is also a signatory to the ALICANTO aviation-education association and founded an aerospace institute in Hangzhou, China . NAU partners with global aviation enterprises - such as Antonov, Boryspil Airport, and ICAO - to offer internships, dual diplomas, and applied research projects .
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Alte University and NAU. The collaboration offers diverse opportunities for students, academic, and administrative staff to gain international experience. The agreement between the universities will facilitate the organization of exchange programs for academic staff and students, joint research projects, exchange of teaching materials and literature, as well as the development of joint academic programs.
