The program involves eight mentors who are leading executives in different industries. Their professional experience encompasses banking, investment activities, corporate finance, healthcare, capital markets, strategic management, organizational transformation, and business development. Sharing this multi-year experience is the core value of the mentorship program-allowing students to gain practical knowledge alongside their studies from individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of their respective fields.
The President of Alte University, Ramaz Kukuladze, is a leader with 30 years of experience, uniting professional activities in banking, finance, investments, and higher education. At various times, he held executive positions at Bank of Georgia and Bank Republic (Société Générale Group), and today he is actively involved in leadership development, modern education, and the strategic development processes of the university.
Vano Baliashvili brings over three decades of experience in the international banking sector, with a career extending beyond Georgia to cover several countries in Central Asia and Eastern Europe. At various times, he held the position of Deputy CEO of TBC Bank, and later served as a Supervisory Board Member and Advisor to various financial institutions.
Nikoloz Gamkrelidze’s professional path is linked to managing major investment and healthcare groups. He led Georgia Healthcare Group, served as Deputy CEO of Georgia Capital PLC, and participated in the transformative processes that brought the company to the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange. Today, he is a private investor managing investment projects across various sectors.
Mariam Megvinetukhutsesi has more than two decades of experience in the financial sector and investment environment development. At various times, she worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), TBC Bank, and the Investors Council of Georgia, where she worked on improving the country’s investment climate and facilitating economic reforms.
Giorgi Chiladze’s professional experience combines strategic management, corporate finance, and asset management. Over the years, he led strategic development directions at Bank of Georgia, and today he is the CEO of Alpha Plus Asset Management and an Independent Director of several companies.
Sulkhan Gvalia is one of the most experienced financial leaders, possessing 30 years of experience in international capital markets and corporate finance. At various times, he was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Bank of Georgia and Lion Finance Group (LSE), as well as a co-founder of E-Space, the first Georgian network for electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Vasil Khodel holds multi-year experience in banking activities, investment banking, and business development. He led Liberty Bank for many years, and prior to that, directed the corporate and investment banking division at Bank of Georgia. Today, he is actively engaged in investment activities and startup development.
Avto Namicheishvili’s career is tied to investments, corporate strategy, and business transformation. Over the years, he managed Georgia Capital's portfolio companies and participated in strategic development processes across various industries, where he worked on business growth and long-term value creation.
The mentorship program will allow students to work on their professional goals through individual meetings, analyze real business cases, receive personalized feedback, and connect academic knowledge with practical experience.
