Funding for International Activities

Alte University supports the international experience of students and staff, including participation in summer/winter schools, educational camps, forums, and other international events. The internal funding program provides either full or partial support, in accordance with established criteria and procedures.

 

Funding Forms

 

1. Who is eligible to receive funding?
Funding is available to:

  • Students – Minimum GPA of 3.0 (in exceptional cases, 2.5–2.9 GPA); active student status; no academic or disciplinary violations.
  • Staff – Current administrative, academic, or invited staff members with no record of violations.

     

2. What types of activities are eligible for funding?

  • International summer/winter schools
  • Educational camps, forums, and other similar projects
    (Research projects, conferences, and publications are excluded)

     

3. How frequently can I receive funding?
After receiving funding, applicants are not eligible for the same type of funding during the current and subsequent semester.

 

4. What are the deadlines for submission?
Applications must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the financial registration deadline.
Decisions are communicated within 2 weeks.

 

5. Who makes the funding decision?
A specially established committee (5 members) approved by the President. Evaluation is based on a scoring system:

  • Students: Academic performance (30), CV (20), Motivation (20), Recommendation (20), Language (10)
  • Staff: Motivation (30), CV (20), Recommendation (20), Language (20), Additional activities (10)

     

6. Can a funding decision be appealed?
Yes. Appeals must be submitted in writing to the President within 3 working days of receiving the decision. A final decision will be issued within 5 working days.

 

7. What types of funding are available?
Both full and partial funding are possible. Once a decision is made, the applicant must confirm acceptance of the offer within 2 working days.
